Deploy and manage a top-shelf email security solution to help keep phishing emails and malware out of your employees’ inboxes. Provide email security awareness training for your employees to help them be a part of the solution!

Phishing is the act of placing a piece of bait in front of an unsuspecting computer user and hoping that they will bite. A bad actor will use virtual bait (usually email) to entice the user to click. Often this bad actor is trying to fool you by looking like someone else. They will have a sense of urgency that encourages you click and act right now, frequently using emotions like fear, curiosity, urgency, and greed to compel recipients to open attachments or click on links. Once the unsuspecting victim gets “hooked,” the device they are on is most likely infected with malware.

Phishing is dangerous. What can you do to protect yourself?

Employee Awareness Training
Offer cybersecurity awareness training for employees. Implement Two Factor Authentication (2FA) This combines something users know (username + password) with something they have (a device). This adds a vital additional layer of authentication. Granted, 2FA is not bulletproof. However, it is a step in the right direction, and depending on the number of users in your organization, it can be implemented within hours or days.
